With the whole rest of August left to go we thought we'd throw another summer cider into the mix: the very local Severn Cider. With a full apple flavour and clean aftertaste, it's almost dangerously easy to drink !
Just around the corner in Awre, Gloucestershire quality fruits have been carefully picked and and transformed into cider for centuries by the Bull family through three generations. The reason this cider tastes so good you ask? Well the fruits are selected from traditional, vintage varieties and from heritage trees that have been conserved and propagated all of this time. Not only this but the Bulls have gone to the effort of harvesting the trees at different times of the year to ensure each variety is picked at it's peak.
Our landlords Graeme and Anita went along for a little tasting session and to find out what it's all about! Here is a snippet of their trip with Nick Bull.
If you'd like to find out more check out their website or their Facebook page. We'd love to hear from you if you've popped down to try it already!
